Today, We are going to talk about how to install Plugins in Adobe Photoshop. A Plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to website or software. They can extend functionality or add new features to your Plugins also help us to save our time in editing because they have single click features.
Step 1 : Download a Plugin
First of all, You need to download any Plugin which you wants to install into your software. You can choose plugins from any site. Best websites are given Below, click and download them.
Step 2 : Extract the Downloaded Plugin
Your Plugin file will be downloaded as RAR or ZIP.exe because the file should be nicely optimized and compressed. Extract the file by clicking on Extract Here. Within some seconds, Your file will be extracted.
Step 3: Copy the Extracted File
Now You need to copy the extracted File by pressing Ctrl+C or by right-clicking on the folder and choose “Copy” from drop down context.
Step 4: Find your Adobe Folder
Find Adobe Folder in your drive. Mostly, Adobe Folder is available in Program File Folder in Drive c but you downloaded Photoshop in other drive, then paste extracted file to that place. For Mac Users, Adobe Folder is located in Applications.
Step 5: Find Plugin Folder
After Finding Adobe Folder, Double Click on it to open and click on “Adobe Photoshop” and then Find Plug-Ins folder by searching in search bar or search it manually and open it by double-clicking
Step 6: Paste Extracted File
After opening Plugin Folder situated in Adobe Folder, Paste that extracted Plugin File by simply pressing Ctrl+V or you can right click and choose paste from opened context.
Close Adobe Photoshop if running in Background
Step 7: Run Adobe Photoshop
Now, Its time to launch Adobe Photoshop from shortcut icon or opening it from list of applications installed on your computer. Be sure that Adobe Photoshop was not running in background at the time of pasting plugin into folder.
Step 8 : Check Plugin Installed Correctly
Select the tool required to use the plugin you installed or check Window, then click on plugin to open it. Test whether the Plugin is working or not If Plugin will not work then again Follow the Steps given above by closing Adobe Photoshop completely.
